Patients with significant weight fluctuations will also want to wait until they are at a consistent weight that they feel confident they can maintain. Smoking or using recreational drugs can increase blood flow to the treated area, which can cause swelling and discomfort after a Liquid Lipo treatment. It will help if you avoid smoking or using recreational drugs for at least 24 hours following the procedure to minimize these symptoms.
