NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a vital coenzyme found in every cell of the body. It plays a key role in cellular repair, energy production, metabolism, and aging processes.
SQ (Subcutaneous)
Injected just under the skin (fat layer)
Absorb slowly over time
May cause more noticeable side effects ("NAD rush") due to slower diffusion
Best kept at or below 50 mg per injection to minimize discomfort
IM (Intramuscular)
Injected deep into muscle tissue (upper arm or glute)
Absorbs more quickly and may be better tolerated
Allows for higher dosing per injection (100–600 mg/week common in anti-ging protocols)
Requires more training for home use but can be more comfortable overall
SQ injections are absorbed more slowly, which can lead to temporary and more pronounced symptoms such as:
Flushing or itching
Nausea
Dizziness
"NAD rush” a temporary feeling of pressure or anxiety
These symptoms are NOT allergic reactions-just commons side effects of NAD+’s action on cellular receptors and blood vessels.
Start with a low dose (25-50mg) SQ
Inject slowly (over 1–2 minutes)
Take NAD+ earlier in the day to avoid sleep issues
Stay well hydrated before and after
Lie down until symptoms pass
Injection Site: Abdomen or outer thigh (rotate sites each time)
Injection Volume: Inject slowly
Hydrate well before and after each injection
Store in refrigerator
